The institute for Comparative Research and Data Collection (CoRDa) focuses on two main topics:
Methods of data collection in developing countries and Europe (qualitative as well as quantitative methods and methodologies)
Comparative research on social inequality, ethnicity, democratization, political parties and elections in developing countries and Europe
CoRDa researchers are specialized in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, ranging from survey research to in-depth interviewing and focus group interviews.
The CoRDa group also specializes in new research methods like websurveys and on-line interviewing and focus groups.
CoRDa is currently involved in research projects in different countries in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
